Overview

Black Feather’s Yukon canoeing trips are in the pristine Peel Watershed. Located in the Selwyn Mountain Range of northeast Yukon, this is one of the last, large, intact ecosystems in North America. All the rivers run north, and eventually flow into the Peel River. The mountains are a northern extension of the Rocky Mountains and reach heights of over 2,700 metres.

The rivers rush through this rugged landscape, whose background is dominated with rocks that are coloured buff, grey, cinnamon, green, and maroon. Wild rapids, swiftly-flowing channels, and crystal waters offer a variety of whitewater canoeing opportunities.
